Fisherman Killed by Great White
Maybe you saw it on the news. In South Africa, a young spear fisherman was killed by a great white shark. The incident took place in the same area of False Bay where we operate our great white shark expeditions. Some reports say the shark was an amazing 20-footer, but our buddy Nic who saw the very same shark the next day while diving, reports it was a bit smaller...closer to 14 feet in length. That's still one very big shark. One should always keep in mind that white shark attacks are extremely rare. If you'd like to see one of these amazing creatures in the wild, either from the safety of a shark cage or the deck of one of our boats, give us a call at 800-644-7382.
